BULLY'S BANKERS

Best horse racing tips for today’s action at Leicester, Plumpton, Lingfield and Wolverhampton from Tom Bull

Don't miss out on Tom Bull's best bets at Wednesday's meetings

WE could be stuck with no racing whatsoever on Wednesday, but I'm a true professional and have studied away just in case a couple slip through the net.

Even the all weather meeting at Lingfield is under threat and I for one will have the fire on to keep my toes warm on Wednesday.

Leicester - Abandoned

1.10 Clarendon Street - Was unlucky not to beat Birchdale on hurdle debut at Warwick.

That form is now well-advertised and Clarendon Street has since won cosily himself.

Carries a 6lb penalty here but you'd like to think he'd be well clear of these in the future.

Lingfield

2.50 Happy Escape - Not the strongest of cards at Lingfield and Happy Escape looks the banker on a quiet day.

There's only a small field of four and if Tony Carroll's five-year-old can carry his Kempton form over to Lingfield he should be hard to stop.

The race could turn tactical, and I'm happy to see Lingfield regular Adam Kirby booked to ride.

Bully's Wednesday Bankers

Leicester 1.10 Clarendon Street

Lingfield 2.50 Happy Escape

Plumpton 2.30 Hint Of Grey

Wolverhampton 6.45 Cuban Spirit

Plumpton - Abandoned

2.30 Hint Of Grey - Gary Moore's mare is 4lb better off than her stablemate who she arguably should have beat last time.

This looks easier than recent outings and the Moore's keep firing in the winners.

I fancy her to reverse the form with Waikiki Waves who looks the main danger.

Wolverhampton

6.45 Cuban Spirit - Off the track since a cosy win in mid-December and should resume progress here.

Trainer Henry Candy doesn't have many runners over the winter but when he does it can pay to follow with interest.

This four-year-old still looks ahead of his mark and my idea of a bet from Wolverhampton.
