Wednesday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson
Don't miss out on Wednesday's best tip across all the cards up and down the land
JACK FROST is at it again and both Leicester and Plumpton look under threat from the cold.
For that reason I tried to stick to the all weather for tipping purposes but could not bring myself to pick anything with confidence at Lingfield or Wolverhampton.
TOWNSHEND (Leicester, 2.40) has been poor on two starts for the Twiston-Davies camp since moving from Ireland.
He's had excuses both times though, and now looks handicapped to go very close down in class.
The first run he simply did not stay in a decent field that has thrown up plenty of subsequent winners.
Next time out at Hereford he tried to dominate and the jockey got his fractions wrong on testing ground.

He's now very well-handicapped and Twiston-Davies has a terrific record with his runners at the Leicestershire track.
Over the last five years he shows close to 25 point profit from his runners there.
He has to lumber around a big weight, but so do the majority of the field in a very condensed handicap.
I think it's also a plus Sam Twiston-Davies is in the saddle and that the trainer is not reaching for one of his capable claimers.
