CRIKEY! One minute it's New Year's Day, the next you're staring down the gun barrel of the Chatteris Fen at Huntingdon.
The Cambridgeshire track hosts a cracking card and I reckon I've found a dead cert.
Huntingdon
3.00 Well Smitten - He returned from a break in tremendous nick last time out, jumping very well and scooting clear for a fine success at this venue.
That was in a lower grade but he had plenty in hand and definitely earned a 8lb rise.
This doesn't look the strongest of races and he should get an easy time of it out front.
The switch to Amy Murphy's yard has clearly done the trick and he should have more to come now.

Lingfield
1.40 Philamundo - Won very impressively at Chelmsford last time, surging clear from the rear to score by six lengths.
That's very difficult to do at the Essex track as horses usually don't make up ground from the back.
He's well-in under just a 6lb penalty and with Kirby up he'll take plenty of stopping.
Bully's Friday Bankers
Lingfield 1.40 - Philamundo
Huntingdon 3.00 - Well Smitten
Sedgefield 3.20 - Sideways
Wolverhampton 6.45 - Betancourt
Sedgefield
3.20 Sideways - First-time cheekpieces made a big difference to him when sluicing up in a weak race at Fakenham last time out.
This is no stronger and he's 2lb well-in under a penalty, whereas main danger Nortonthorpelegend is 2lb wrong.
Christian Williams' horses have been flying and this one can continue the good work.
Wolverhampton
6.45 Betancourt - This is a really weak race and gives a good opportunity for Stef Keniry's nine-year-old to follow up his course and distance victory last time.
The third that day has since won so the form looks good and he's only been raised 2lb.
He has a wide draw but it shouldn't matter too much given his running style is from the back and it's a long trip.
