Best horse racing tips for today’s action at Lingfield, Taunton, Doncaster and Kempton from Tom Bull
Don't miss out on Tom Bull's best bets at Wednesday's meetings
VENETIA WILLIAMS has been my best friend over the last few days and I'm already lining up some more of her runners for later in the week.
Unfortunately she's runnerless on Wednesday, but that's not to say there aren't a few other mudlarks that have taken my eye.
Lingfield
1.55 Beleaguerment - Archie Watson's gelding pulled too hard when sent off 5-4 favourite last time out and that cost him his chance.
Provided he's more settle today he'll take the beating judged on the turnaround in the weights with Uncle Jerry, who beat him narrowly that day.
This isn't a strong race and off the same mark, he has a big chance.
Doncaster
1.35 The Manuscript - In first-time cheekpieces he gamely got on top in a rousing finish at Market Rasen last time out, wearing down the leader late on.
That was much more like it, and although he faces different ground conditions here, whoever wins will need serious stamina.
Raised just 3lb, here should have plenty more in the tank considering this will be just his fourth outing in handicaps.

Taunton
2.55 Style De Garde - Pretty smart hurdler for Nicky Henderson reverts to the smaller obstacles following a disobedient display at Hereford last time, when he stood still as the race went off.
It would be no surprise to see him back over fences after this, but it's easy to see why he's lining up here as his mark of 138 over hurdles looks very attractive.
Just 1lb higher than when finishing second in last year's Fred Winter, he looks very nicely handicapped and, judged on his reappearance effort, a wind operation could well have improved him.

Doncaster 1.35 - The Manuscript
Lingfield 1.55 - Beleaguerment
Taunton 2.55 - Style De Garde
Kempton 6.15 - Cenotaph
Kempton
6.15 Cenotaph - Looked a horse to follow on his first three British starts, winning as he liked in decent contests at Chelmsford.
He was turned over at short odds last time, but that's still strong form and he should have too much firepower for these rivals.
Rated 108, he's well-weighted with chief rival Corinthia Knight, and this is a slightly easier six furlongs than at Chelmsford.
