DASHEL DRASHER (2.40 Chepstow) looks hard to beat now that a couple of his biggest rivals are non-runners.
His form was already decent enough with a fourth in good company at Newbury last time out. He is stepping up from 2m today which should bring improvement on just his third spin over hurdles.
LOVE LANE (1.05 Chepstow) was very impressive when winning at Market Rasen last time out, winning without getting out of first gear.
She showed plenty of zip to win there but has also got a little more staying power, which you can need at the Welsh track, which is a sterner test.
This is a similar level of contest to last time so she should be right on the premises once more.
BENNY’S SECRET (1.55 Musselburgh) was a decent enough hurdler and wasn’t asked too many questions on his chasing debut at Wetherby last time out.
That was a handicap and the assessor has given him a little nudge down the weights, which will do no harm. He should improve for the experience and this doesn’t look a particularly strong contest.

EACH-WAY DOUBLE: ISLAND FLAME (6.15 Wolverhampton) comes from the canny Les Eyre and he’s dropped back to his last winning mark, which came over course and distance in August. That gives him a chance of hitting the frame at least.
Pair him with GEORGE HASTINGS (7.15 Wolverhampton) who is another to have slid right down the handicap.
WOT A SHOT (2.25 Musselburgh) has been given a chance with a 5lb drop down the weights for a modest enough run at Market Rasen last time out.
On anything like the pick of his form, he’ll be very hard to beat from this mark and over a course and distance that suits well.
