He was a useful handicapper on the Flat and looked to have taken well to jumping despite not being asked too many questions.
He will improve for the experience and won’t mind the little bit of give in the ground.
BONZA GIRL (3.05 Lingfield) has landed three wins on the bounce and had 12 lengths in hand at Fontwell last time.
That means this 7lb penalty shouldn’t put the brakes on.
She powered home there over the extended 2m5f trip so this slightly longer distance holds no fears.
ROCKET RONNIE (5.20 Kempton) is more than capable of striking at this level and was a good third at Chelmsford last time out.
He hasn’t had many runs for his current trainer and looks well handicapped even before his capable rider takes a valuable 3lb off.
