SOME CHAOS (Cheltenham, 12.50) can cause an upset in this staying handicap.

It's a field full of staying plodders and my fancy gets a lot of weight from the main protagonists.

He ran into one on his hat-trick attempt last time out and is up 5lbs for finishing second - far from ideal - but that horse has run well since.

His jumping is sound though and he shapes as if this added trip will be right up his street.

Trainer Michael Scudamore could be in better form, but with smaller yards it's harder to get a grip on how their string are going.

It's a big step up for this novice, but he's a horse on the up and plenty of his rivals will be using this as a stepping stone for bigger targets further down the line.

Elsewhere at Cheltenham

ASO (Cheltenham, 2.00) looks a cracking each-way dart for Venetia Williams. He impressed at Newbury last time and while top weight is a big ask in this he should prove plenty better than these come season end.

The Dipper is a top race and I'm siding with LOSTINTRANSLATION (Cheltenham, 1.25) to do the business for Colin Tizzard and the gang.

Youknowell (Fakenham, 2.30) looks a shoe in too. He's miles ahead of the handicapper.
