BULLY'S BANKERS

Best horse racing tips for today’s action at Kempton, Wetherby, Segefield, Huntingdon, Market Rasen, Fontwell, Wincanton and Wolverhampton from Tom Bull

Don't miss out on Tom Bull's best bets at Boxing Day's meetings

I don't know where to look on Boxing Day as there are more meetings around the country than there are breeds of bull.

I'm the best breed though, so that's all that matters.

Bully's High Five

There are so many meetings on Boxing Day that it would be folly to give a banker at every one.

I've therefore gone for five that I think are head and shoulders above the rest.

Kempton

12.50 The Big Bite - Much of the interest will be on the rematch between Didtheyleaveuoutto and Thomas Darby, but this is a very good opportunity for Tom George's exciting novice.

He was really impressive last time at Haydock, coming clear in the style of a good one, and still has bags of potential.

A big, scopey type, he should get a nice tow into it and use his excellent turn of foot to winning effect.

Wetherby

2.10 Wakanda - Has finished second in the feature Rowland Meyrick for the last two years and clearly loves the track.

Will be primed perfectly for this following a prep run over hurdles and this looks a slightly easier renewal than has been the case in the past.

He's still on a workable mark off 147 and conditions are ideal for him to produce another big run.

Bully's Boxing Day Bankers

11.55 Sedgefield - Millie The Minx

12.50 Kempton - The Big Bite

1.50 Fontwell - Thomas Blossom

2.10 Wetherby - Wakanda

2.35 Wincanton - Admiral's Secret

Fontwell

1.50 Thomas Blossom - Provided the switch to trainer Richard Harper hasn't had an adverse effect, the eight-year-old should be able to complete a hat-trick here.

His win at Hereford last time was more convincing than the three length margin suggests and he can defy a 6lb rise.

Theo Gillard takes off 7lb so he's theoretically 1lb lower than his last win and this isn't a strong race.

Wincanton

2.35 Admiral's Secret - Produced a lovely performance on his comeback to finish second and arguably would have won had he not got a bit tired.

Should strip much fitter now and can add to the two wins he picked up at the end of last season.

Trip and track are fine should be fine and he looks a progressive type.

Sedgefield

11.55 Millie The Minx - Has won twice at the track of late and was particularly impressive last time out.

Has to deal with an 8lb rise for that but she was well in command and this step up in trip could unlock further improvement.

Greatwood-winning jock Danny McMenamin takes off 7lb and she will make a bold bid for the hat-trick.
