Thursday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson
Don't miss out on today's best tip across all the cards up and down the land
THE rain has arrived and at last field sizes can't be counted on the one hand.
It doesn't make punting any easier though and the last few days have been hard work to say the least.
After a string of six seconds last week I need a cuddle and I'm hoping Fergal O'Brien can step up to the plate on Thursday.
CUDDLES MCRAW (Warwick, 1.10) ran well behind a massive improver last time out and should be able to strike in similar company despite the handicapper trying his best with a 6lbs hike.
The Cheltenham trainer would have been spitting out his Victoria Sponge when he saw the BHA honchos hiked him up the ratings that much for a seven length second.
Yet I can't see that stopping this lightly-raced five-year-old.
The winner of Bangor race has hacked up again since Cuddles was miles clear of the third that day.
He jumped better as the race went on and should use that experience to improve a tad here.
The O'Brien stable remain in good nick and he should take all the stopping in this heat.

YOUKNOWELL (Warwick, 2.15) was another strong fancy on the same card. He looks set to post a string of wins in similar company but is likely to be plenty short.
Back on the all weather Gay Kelleway's GLOBAL WONDER (Kempton, 6.30) will get an each way nibble.
At Chelmsford I like the look of SWEET NATURE (8.45) and DANDY LAD (6.45).
