Best horse racing tips for today’s action at Warwick, Ayr, Taunton, Kempton and Chelmsford from Tom Bull
Don't miss out on Tom Bull's best bets at today's five meetings
I had a really good night's sleep in the barn and as a result i'm feeling more than a bit Bullish about my selections on Thursday.
There are five meetings so I'll be flicking between Racing UK, At The Races and the Farm channel!
Warwick
2.15 Youknowell - It's a tad surprising that the handicapper raised Paul Webber's mare just 6lb for what can only be described as a romp at Plumpton last time out. Stepped up to an extended three miles for the first time, she relished every yard and drew clear to win in fine style. The runner-up has since gone to fill the same berth so the form looks solid enough for the grade. She's stepping back in trip slightly here but the ground is on the softer side and it should be a decent stamina test. It's a very weak race and she stands out.
Ayr
1.55 Beau Sancy - The progressive six-year-old is on a roll and notched up his third win on the bounce at Fakenham last time out, drawing clear of a good yardstick for the grade. He's been raised 7lb for that but it could still underestimate him as he's improved leaps and bounds for trainer Olly Murphy's handling. It's fascinating that Murphy has sent him all the way up to Ayr (his only runner on the card) and he's fully expected to make it four on the trot.
Bully's Thursday Bankers
1.55 Ayr - Beau Sancy
2.15 Warwick - Youknowell
3.45 Taunton - Definite Warrior
5.00 Kempton - Livvys Dream
6.45 Chelmsford - Valley Belle
Taunton
3.45 Definite Winner - Katy Price has her string in very good form and this one struck with head in chest at Wincanton last time out. She's due to be raised 12lb but has got into the race under a 7lb penalty and looks a handicap snip. She'll have to get the better of other last-time-out winner Bonza Girl, but that one could be vulnerable now having her second outing in quick succession after a break. Conditions are ideal and she looks to have every chance of landing a second successive victory.
Kempton
5.00 Livvys Dream - Filly has really progressed in her last three starts for trainer Charlie Hills, winning twice before producing a good effort in second at Newmarket last time out. The winner got first run on here there so she could be classed as slightly unlucky. Only been raised 1lb for that and she now returns to the scene of her September victory. Can progress again and get back on the winning track.
Chelmsford
6.45 Valley Belle - The switch to Phil McEntee's yard clearly worked wonders last time out as she bolted up at the track in a reapplied visor. She's a fair bit higher in the weights now but there could a lot more to come for her new trainer, who is a man to follow during the all-weather season. Course form is vital at Chelmsford and she can get the better of some unexposed two-year-olds lurking on potentially decent marks.
