Wednesday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson
Don't miss out on today's best tip across all the cards up and down the land
THE weekend can't come quick enough and I'm back surfing the sand for Wednesday's bet.
A handicap debutant making it's first start for a new stable has caught my eye in a very weak race up at Newcastle. He should be a juicy price too.
ROCK PARTY (Newcastle, 4.45) looks to have found a nice opening for shrewdie Lawrence Mullaney.
The Yorkshire trainer had a winner on Tuesday with a horse on it's first outing for the stable and I'm hoping this youngster can make a mockery of his basement mark here.
Off of 58, with useful Phil Dennis taking off another handy 3lbs, he should be bang there on his previous form for Kevin Ryan.
There's no need to set your alarm for this heat, it really does lack for quality, but that only aids Rock Party back on Tapeta.
LATEST IN HORSE RACING
He's run on the Tapeta before, but that was at Wolverhampton and he looked all at see on the tight bend there.
The straight track at Newcastle should suit better and his best efforts have come on similar straight five and six furlongs.
At the forecast prices he looks a cracking each way bet and his handicap mark is ready for milking.
Elsewhere...
Slim pickings again.
MISTIROC (Wetherby, 1.15) and SULA ISLAND (Hereford, 2.35) were the only other considerations. Bring on the weekend.
