CIVIL UNREST (3.00 Musselburgh) has improved since switching from hurdles back to chases with a win and three places from four runs.
He was again right in the firing line when second at Kelso last time and looks set for another good run off a fair handicap mark.
His form over course and distance is good and he gets on well with his 5lb claiming rider.
ERIC THE THIRD (12.45 Musselburgh) rarely puts a foot wrong as his form figures show.
He is of real interest switching back to hurdles after a long run of success over the bigger obstacles.
He goes from a much lower handicap mark in this sphere and has a capable 10lb claimer on board for good measure.
LATEST IN HORSE RACING
Tim Vaughan’s hope has no issues seeing out this distance and should run another good race.
SISTER SIBYL (2.35 Kempton) ran well when second at Cheltenham last time, all the more so considering she was bumped into and lost a shoe during the race.
That came after a couple of good chase wins and this slightly increased mark doesn’t give her too much to do.
This trip is ideal and most of these rivals have plenty of holes in their form.

EACH-WAY DOUBLE: THE OGLE GOGLE MAN (1.05 Ludlow) can be hit and miss but he ran well at Sedgefield last time and will be in the frame with a repeat of that.
Pair him with VOLT FACE (3.10 Kempton) who came back from nine months off at Bangor last time and should be a much fitter today.
FAIRWAY FREDDIE (3.40 Kempton) had a breakthrough on his fourth hurdles run at Wincanton last time.
He sauntered to victory by seven lengths there and it could have been a lot further.
A 7lb penalty for that success shouldn’t be enough to stop him provided this race isn’t coming too soon.
