Monday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson

Don't miss out on today's best tip across all the cards up and down the land

WELL, last week couldn't have been anymore frustrating. Five seconds and a winner from the seven bets.

It was summed up with Gonnabegood's photo second at Exeter yesterday. You truly have to see it to believe it.

But they're going close and a new week starts with ROBINSHILL (Ludlow, 1.40).

This horse would have had a hat trick banged in over Monday's course and distance but for unseating the rider at the last on one occasion.

He's been all but hopeless in four runs since his Ludlow days out, but that was behind the likes of Footpad in the Arkle.

He runs off 135 here and won over trip and track off 137. It doesn't take a genius to work out the thinking.

The calmer waters can see him bounce back and you'd have to think it looks a match between Robinshill and Sternrubin; famous last words.

Big Nige and his duffel coat are in fine form and the forecast price of 12-1 is surely miles out.

Let's start the week with a bang.

I'm steering well clear of the Musselburgh card, but at Kempton IT'S GOT THE LEGS (3.10) looks a bet. He's been crying out for this step up to three miles and his Ascot run will read well over the season.

SISTER SIBYL (Kempton, 2.35) could be an each way to nothing at the odds too. She's a plucky mare and still looks nicely handicapped. There's more to come from her.
