Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks for Monday’s racing at Kempton, Carlisle and Southwell

Don't miss out on Sun Racing's best bet and each-way shot at all of today's meetings

THE rain has arrived and the Jumps yards have upped the ante, with Kempton putting on a tidy afternoon card.

There's also the return of the all-weather at Southwell and more jumping at Carlisle.

1

Southwell

Best bet

3.20 Maybe Today - Any Simon Crisford horse is worth a second look at Southwell and this filly was second to a subsequent Listed winner last time out. This race is much weaker and she should take all the beating back up in trip.

Each way

12.35 Weld Al Emarat - Former course and distance winner looks nicely treated for shrewd Mick Easterby. Looks to be well placed at a big price and drops back into a Class 5.

Kempton

Best bet

1.15 Kupatana - You can set your clock by Nicky Henderson at Kempton and on chase debut Kupatana doesn't face much opposition. Seven Barrows are in flying form and I'd expect her to have too many gears for her rivals here.

Each way

1.50 Tidal Flow - Won't be the biggest price but at the forecast odds I'm happy to chance Philip Hobbs' horse. Tidy bumper form and the stable have had plenty of winners in recent days.

Carlisle

Best bet

1.30 Vinndication - A bit of a talking horse, but was good over hurdles and is a chaser in the making. Won't mind some juice in the ground and although this is a deep race for it's type and money on offer I'm happy to put my faith in Kim Bailey's runner.

Each way

2.05 Russian Royale - Looks on a generous mark in this wide open race. Has been knocking at the door in recent months and should be suited by this drop to two miles.

Nico de Boinville and Nicky Henderson out to bag big prizes on the way to the Festival
