Jockey Finian O’Toole fractures BOTH sides of pelvis after fall on One Night In Milan at Kelso
O'Toole's mount was four hurdles from home and going well before the 100-30 shot hit the deck
JOCKEY Finian O'Toole has broken both sides of his pelvis following a heavy fall at Kelso.
His horse One Night In Milan was four from home when the pair hit the turf after belting the hurdle.
The fall brought down fellow runner King Leon who appeared to run over O'Toole as he tried to protect himself on the floor.
Medic crews were quickly on the scene and an air ambulance arrived at the Scottish track to take the jockey to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
His agent said: "I spoke to him this morning and he's fractured both sides of his pelvis.
"It's obviously not good. He's in Glasgow and I'd imagine he's going to be there for a while, as they're talking about operating on it or pinning it or whatever they do when you fracture your pelvis.
