Saturday’s racing tips: Three longshots to fill your pockets at Doncaster and Wincanton

THERE is some seriously competitive action to sink our teeth into on Saturday.

We've picked out some horses that look over-priced and should go close at big odds.

1.30 Doncaster - Anasheed

Well-bred filly returned from a lay-0ff to win a shade cosily at Chelmsford in September.

She will have learnt plenty there and, having gone close at Goodwood first time out, the return to turf is no issue.

This isn't a deep Listed event and she is capable of taking a big step forward.

2.05 Doncaster - Hey Jonesy

Talented sprinter who has been unlucky not to win more races during his career.

Didn't run badly when third in a muddling Group 3 at Ascot on his latest outing.

Sounder surface here will suit, he is eased in class and he remains a horse of serious potential.

3.35 Wincanton - Sumkindofking

Consistent chaser who won bravely at Ludlow in October on his return to action.

Ran well behind Bigbadjohn at this track on his latest outing and yard are firing in the winners at present.

Noel Fehily takes over in the saddle and the seven-year-old should have more to offer this term.
