We narrow down the field to help you pick the winner of the competitive contest live on ITV this Saturday

3.15 DONCASTER: November Handicap

STICK with distance winners in this charge up Town Moor as they have a strong record.

So from this year’s hopefuls we’ll lose What About Carlo, My Lord And Master, Stargazer, Not So Sleepy, Erik The Red, Aasheq, Everything For You, Birds Of Prey, Eddystone Rock and Baydar.

This hasn’t been a race for horses coming back after a break, with only one winner having been off the track for more than 58 days.

That means we can cross out To Be Wild and Royal Line. Seafarer goes too because she’s had just three runs this season and that’s not enough.

A very low draw has not been a help so Hochfield, Grey Britain, Now Children and Lorelina have a tough afternoon ahead.

That leaves us with six still standing before we take out the total outsiders. Surprisingly, most winners of this are toward the head of the betting.

Temple Church and Fun Mac are both 33-1 or bigger which is too long.

Only one six-year-old has prevailed in the past 10 years, which is bad news for Reshoun.

So our shortlist is Restorer, Wolf Country and Buzz. They all have solid claims and all three can be backed for a profit.

Of the trio, we’ll go for WOLF COUNTRY. He comes from in-form trainer Charlie Appleby which has to be another plus.
