THE action hots up over the jumps today with the return of Newbury and a top card at Market Rasen.

The Sun Racing team has picked out a pair of longshots to boost the betting balance ahead of the weekend.

1.30 Market Rasen - Berboru

Lightly-raced mare had some useful form in point-to-points before joining Ben Pauling.

She found the 2m trip on the sharp side when sixth in a bumper on her first start under rules.

This step up in distance and switch to hurdling is a plus, while her trainer has fitted a tongue-tie for the first time.

2.55 Newbury - Tobefair

Likeable hurdler who enjoyed a brilliant 2016-17 campaign, winning four times.

He wasn't seen as regularly last term, but he still ran well when third off this mark on his last outing at Warwick.

Has a course and distance win to his name and he goes well fresh, so he ought to give a good account of himself.
