Friday’s racing tips: Two longshots to fill your pockets at Wetherby and Kempton

Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Friday, November 2

THE two-day Charlie Hall meeting kicks off on Friday and there are some cracking contests in prospect.

The Sun Racing team has been thumbing through the card and picked out two longshots capable of firing up your wallet.

1

3.40 Wetherby - Cornborough

Oldest in the field but comes into the race off the back of a career best effort on the Flat. If transferring that to hurdles (which he has done successfully in the past) then he could be lurking on a very decent mark. Some of his better performances over obstacles have come at this track and conditions should be ideal for him to go close at least.

9.15 Kempton - Jeopardy John

Has long looked in need of some headgear as he doesn't finish his races that strongly and now he finally gets to have a crack in cheekpieces. They may not work of course, but it's worth taking a chance because on his two-year-old form he is absolutely thrown in. Landed a good draw and has Robert Winston in the plate.
