Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks for today’s racing at Lingfield, Stratford, Sedgefield, Newcastle and Wolverhampton
ALL-WEATHER lovers will be in clover on Thursday, with three meetings on the level plus a further two over jumps.
The Sun Racing team have been studying the form and put together a best bet and each-way for all five meetings.
Lingfield
Best bet
2.35 Move Swiftly - A cracking Listed event can go to William Haggas' filly. She pulled a mile clear with the winner when a close second in a hot handicap at Newmarket last time and should be hard to beat.
Each-way
2.00 Merlin - Shaped as though he was badly in need of the run when returning from a lay-off at Ripon last time. Will be sharper now and he remains open to progress.

Sedgefield
Best bet
3.30 Same Circus - Had some smart form over fences last season and has excuses when below her best when last season. Returns over hurdles off a dangerous mark.
Each-way
4.00 Reivers Lodge - Only won once from 22 starts but generally held his form well over the summer. Will have come on for recent comeback at Hexham and good ground here will suit.
Stratford
Best bet
2.45 Activial - Has plenty of back-class having won a Grade 2 as a novice and placed in a County Hurdle. Lost his way with last yard but joined powerful operation and undoubtedly well-handicapped.
Each-way
3.50 Hidden Charmer - Hit the frame in two starts in the summer and unseated his rider early last time. Could play a part if brushing up on his jumping.
Newcastle
Best bet
7.30 Geography Teacher - Stormed home to finish a never-nearer second over 5f here last time. Return to 6f a big plus and a repeat of that form should see him go one place better.
Each-way
6.30 Mujassam - Rattled up a hat-trick over the summer but not at his best on last few starts. Now below his last winning mark so an improved effort could be on the cards.
Wolverhampton
Best bet
5.45 It's Not Unusual - Archie Watson's runner took a while to open his account but did it in style at Chelmsford last time. Hard to beat under his penalty.

6.15 Lord Murphy - He has been knocking on the door at this track of late. Should get a stronger pace to aim at this evening and looks sure to be on the premises again.
