Before that he was arguably even more impressive when winning well over hurdles at Southwell earlier this month.
He shapes as though this step up in distance will bring further improvement and he looks hard to beat.

He has enjoyed his past two visits to this track with a win and second in similar races to today.
The handicapper has not over-reacted with a 4lb rise for being beaten a neck last time out.
He has a little bit of work to do from a wide draw but that shouldn’t be a major issue over this mile distance.
