Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks for today’s racing at Ascot, Ffos Las, Market Rasen, Catterick, Stratford and Wolverhampton
Don't miss out on Sun Racing's best bet and each-way shot at all of today's meetings
ALL eyes will be on Ascot, but a winner is a winner and pays the same wherever you find it.
There's action up and down the country and we've picked out our strongest fancies across the cards.
Ascot
Best bet
2.00 The Tin Man - As good as any in this race and looks a solid favourite, albeit at a decent price. He hasn't got the sexy profile of some, but loves it at Ascot and will thrive on the ground.
Each way
3.15 Century Dream - Gets his ground for the first time in a while and has threatened to win a big one all summer. Bigger field should suit and if Buick can hold onto him long enough he has a huge chance.
Catterick
Best bet
2.25 Ice Gala - You have to respect any William Haggas horse at Catterick and this two-year-old's form is streets ahead of anything else in the race. The one to beat.
Each way
4.05 Be Perfect - Goes as well as any at Catterick and looks over-priced off this mark. No problems if the ground comes up testing.
Wolverhampton
Best bet
6.45 Epaulement - A horse on the up in recent starts and has form on the all weather already in the bag. Yard have hit their stride again and think there's more to come from this three-year-old.
Each way
6.15 Marseille - Been out of sorts for much of the season but has shown signs of recovery and looks on a dangerous mark. Drawn well and the all weather surface may sharpen her up.
Ffos Las
Best bet
2.45 Etamine Du Cochet - Made a solid start to life over hurdles last November. Clearly had an issue or two but the yard continue to bang in the winners and he looks a cracking bet in this maiden hurdle.
Each way
3.55 No Comment - Things didn't go to plan in two attempts over fences last year, but this is easier and that experience will still put him in good stead here. Solid field, but much of it having their first crack at the big obstacles.
Market Rasen
Best bet
3.25 Dynamite Dollars - Chase debut, but in a small field he should get a nice enough introduction and has always looked like a fence will be the making of him.
Each way
2.50 Jersey Bean - Any horse Oliver Sherwood sends out at this time in the season needs to be considered and this lad looks unexposed ahead of the season to come. Worth an each way play.
Stratford
Best bet
4.10 One Forty Seven - Improved massively last time and should come on again at another crack over fences. Yard have come out flying in recent weeks.
Each way
3.00 Turnbury - Going through his races well enough in recent efforts to suggest a big run is around the corner. Lurking on a dangerous mark.
