3.15 Gentle Look – Shaped as though he would appreciate the step up to this trip when third in a good maiden at Sandown. Tough to beat if taking another step forward.

3.50 Go Fox – Hampered when not beaten far in sixth at Windsor last time. Dropped 1lb by the handicapper and solid claims if getting a clear run this time.

Best bet

3.05 Jj’s Journey – Strong at the finish when a never nearer third at Hamilton last time. Extra 2f here in his favour and open to progress after just two starts.

Each-way

2.00 Lexington Palm – Struggled on bottomless ground at Ayr on debut and moves as though this quicker surface will suit. Should take a step forward now.

Newton Abbot

Best bet

4.00 Ontopoftheworld – Made all for a decisive success at Perth last time out. Improved for switch to this yard and he looks likely to get an easy lead in this small field.

Each-way

4.30 Bradford Bridge – Shaped better than the bare result on his return from a lay-off last time. Should strip fitter and take a step forward under Richard Johnson.

Kempton

Best bet

7.45 Corrosive – Unlucky not to win more races this season but got his head back in front at Chelmsford last time. Only up 2lb and every chance of following up.

5.45 Garth Rockett – Holding his form well this season and won on his last outing on Polytrack. Return to this surface could see an improved effort.
