Several Group 1 options open to high-class three-year-old Expert Eye
Sir Michael Stoute will let the weather dictate which route he takes with the Group 2 winner
SIR MICHAEL STOUTE is keeping all options open for Expert Eye.
Connections of the high-class colt have nailed down three potential Group 1 targets.
The son of Acclamation is thought most likely to run in the Prix de la Foret over 7f at Longchamp on 7 October.
However, he also has the option to run at Ascot on 20 October in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes or travel to the US for the Breeders' Cup Mile the following month.
He has gone close to a Group 1 victory this term, finishing second in the Sussex Stakes and an unlucky third in the Prix du Moulin.
Stoute believes the horse is more than capable of winning at the highest level, though ground conditions will determine which route he takes.

Stoute said: "I thought he was a bit unlucky in France and so did Ryan Moore.
"He could possibly go to the Prix de la Foret or the QEII at Ascot, and there is the Breeders' Cup Mile as well.
"I think the weather will decide where he goes. Good to soft would be acceptable, but he wouldn't want it any softer.
"He is in good shape and has come out of his last race well."
Stoute added that Crystal Ocean, who ran second to Enable earlier this month, was not yet guaranteed to head to the Arc in two weeks' time.
He said: "Enable is a machine and a freak, but he (Crystal Ocean) has been very solid all year.
"We've yet to decide if he goes to the Arc as I still need to talk to the owners."
