Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks for today’s racing at Doncaster, Chester, Chelmsford, Bath, Musselburgh and Lingfield
Don't miss out on Sun Racing's best bet and each-way shot at all of today's meetings
THERE is a brilliant weekend of racing in store, with top-class action at Doncaster the main focus of attention.
The Sun Racing team have been studying the form and have picked out a best bet and each-way tip for each meeting on Saturday.
Doncaster
Best bet
3.35 Lah Ti Dar - Exciting filly returned to action with a brilliant win at York last month. She should relish this trip and trainer John Gosden has an excellent record in the final Classic of the season.
Each-way
1.50 Marnie James - Shaped as though this 5.5f trip would be perfect when third at York last time. Still progressing and talented claimer takes off a handy 3lb.
Chester
Best bet
2.40 Blakeney Point - Classy stayer has been holding his form well this season, including a cracking fifth in the Ebor last time. Well drawn here and will appreciate this softer ground.
Each-way
3.15 Dave Dexter - Made a big impression when winning on debut at Ascot. Hasn't quite gone on as expected but he is eased in class now and has been handed a good draw.
Chelmsford
Best bet
1.40 Daphinia - Ran an excellent second to Signora Cabello (has since won two Group 2s) at York in May. Off since finishing down the field at Royal Ascot but found a good opening on her return.
Each-way
2.15 Breathless Times - Won twice on the all-weather earlier in the year before excellent fourth on AW Championships day. Well beaten on turf the last twice but since had a wind op and back on his favoured surface.

Bath
Best bet
4.20 Daira Prince - Won cosily at Nottingham and Ripon earlier on the season. Short of his best the last twice but now eased in grade and worth another chance.
Each-way
3.45 Nibras Again - Broke his maiden in comfortable fashion at Haydock two starts ago. Unsuited by soft ground at Sandown last time and should bounce back on this quicker surface.
Musselburgh
Best bet
5.15 Artarmon - Stoutly-bred three-year-old has won three of his last four starts. Well on top when successful at Chelmsford last time and 4lb rise could underestimate him.
Each-way
3.30 Primeiro Boy - Hampered when sixth over course and distance last time out. Dropped in class and a better effort is expected with talented apprentice on board.
Lingfield
Best bet
3.05 Raid - Highly tried in three starts this season and things didn't go his way at Goodwood last time. Well suited by the race conditions and this looks a good opening.
Each-way
1.55 Staunch - Plenty of promise in two starts last year, and well-backed when down the field on return to action last month. Will strip fitter for that and better expected now.
