Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks for today’s racing at Doncaster, Ffos Las and Hamilton

Don't miss out on Sun Racing's best bet and each-way shot at all of today's meetings

EPSOM'S abandonment leaves us with a quiet Thursday of racing, but the action steps up a notch at Doncaster as the ITV cameras roll in.

It's quality over quantity and we've got you covered with our best bets for the afternoon.

Doncaster

Best bet

3.35 The Irish Rover - Has been busy in juvenile campaign, but has major form claims on a few performances. Interesting that Aidan O'Brien pitches him in here for the big money and on ratings he's well clear. Doesn't have to give too much weight away and should be right in the mix if getting the luck needed down the straight.

Each way

1.50 Evie Speed - Was on the up before running at no race at York. Blew it in the stalls that day though and is much better than that on a going day. Looks to have been judged on that alone and therefore the complete wrong price.

Ffos Las

Best bet

3.25 Slyvia's Mother - She found her feet last time and looks to have been well-placed here with just a 3lbs rise. Jason Watson negates that and can hopefully get the filly to break quickly and be up with the pace like she was with her win at Chelmsford.

Each way

5.00 Del Parco - Handicapper finally has shown some leeway with Clive Cox's runner and he looks over-priced in a poor handicap. Shows up best on good or quick ground though so will want the rain to stay well away.

Hamilton

Best bet

4.15 Autumn Flight - Really positive debut to finish second behind a smart sort. A repeat of that probably enough to take this and you would think he'd come on for that Catterick effort as well.

Each way

3.45 Dodgy Bob - Was an eye catcher at huge odds last time and drops back into a Class 6. Appears versatile on the ground and this course and distance winner looks too well handicapped to ignore.
