Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks ahead of today’s racing at Catterick, Leicester, Worcester and Salisbury

Don't miss out on Sun Racing's best bet and each-way shot at all of Tuesday's meetings

DONCASTER may be on the horizon but there's still four cards on these shores to sort through on Tuesday.

We've had our heads in the formbook and picked out our strongest fancies from the tracks.

1

Catterick

Best bet

4.40 Meshardal - Former course and distance winner and has squeezed into this Class 6 at the top of the handicap. Had been going well in stronger races and holds a massive shout here.

Each way

3.35 Wotabreeze - Big weight to shoulder but a lot of no-hopers in here and Wotabreeze has run in much better heats. Goes well at the track and looks on a very appealing mark.

Leicester

Best bet

4.20 Perfect Hustler - Still on an upward curve and was unlucky at Kempton last time. Gets plenty of weight from his elders here and should be suited by the straight track.

Each way

5.25 Zamperini - Looks over priced in this wide open race. Showed encouraging signs at Sandown last time and looks well placed in this race by connections.

Worcester

Best bet

3.25 Canoodle - Favourite looks slightly vulnerable to me and Hughie Morrison's hurdler's best form has been over two miles. Sticks at the trip he won at last time and 5lbs rise could under estimate him.

Each way

4.25 Kiruna Peak - Can strike at juicy odds for Fergal O'Brien. Race doesn't look up to much and this consistent mare should be right in the mix. Best seen on good, summer ground.

MAN OF THE MATCH The Tin Man bags another prize in Haydock's Sprint Cup

Salisbury

Best bet

5.40 Foxtrot Lady - Has been running well in competitive races and has arguably been slightly unlucky in a couple. This is a good race but she gets plenty of weight and looks the one to side with.

Each way

4.00 Union Rose - A bit of a leap of faith but looks nicely treated on current mark. Has shown nothing in recent outings but this is a tad easier.
