Star turn Enable fully recovered after sensational September Stakes performance

John Gosden's heroine is feeling no ill effects after a display that shot her to the top of the market for the Arc

ENABLE is fully recovered and ready for a trip to Longchamp following her brilliant win in Saturday's September Stakes.

John Gosden's filly made it seven wins in a row at Kempton and all roads now lead to Paris.

The four-year-old superstar was having her first start since sluicing clear in last year's Arc, and the eyes of the racing world were once again firmly fixed on her as she made her comeback in the Group 3 contest.

Connections needn't have had a moment's worry, though, as she bounded clear from main market rival Crystal Ocean in tremendous style to run out an emphatic winner.

Bookmakers were sufficiently impressed and cut the classy filly across the board, and last year's Yorkshire Oaks and King George victor now heads to the Arc a general 6-4f.

Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, said: "She is good this morning and there are no problems.

"She was in very good form going into the race and we always hoped she would produce a good performance.

"The way she did it was very pleasing. I think everything about it was good and I don't think you could have asked for any more in how the race worked out.

"She good into a good rhythm, and although she was a little bit fresh, she settled really well, and she quickened well when asked. The runner-up (Crystal Ocean) is a very solid horse.

"The Arc is a huge race and she will have to bring her A-game, but that was a very good start to her year, if a somewhat belated one.

"It was great to see her do what she did yesterday."
