York and Fontwell come under the spotlight as Templegate gives you his best bets for the day

MCGROARTY (nap) won two novice races last summer. His subsequent efforts were not as good but there were excuses.
He’s got cheekpieces on for the first time and trainer Richard Newland could not be in much better form.
ROYSTONIA (4.00 York, nb) landed a Chepstow novice race in June and ran a promising race upped to 1m6f last time.
She should like the step up to 2m even better and the likely solid pace will suit this staying filly.
SHAHEEN (5.00 York, treble) has already won three races this summer but he remains fairly treated. He should get the decent early gallop he needs.
