Don't miss out on Sun Racing's best bet and each-way shot at all of Tuesday's meetings

THERE’S something for everyone on Tuesday, with jumps at Stratford, all weather at Kempton and some good action at Goodwood.

We’ve been through the cards and picked out our top selections from the day’s four meetings.

Goodwood

Best bet

2.00 Lyrica’s Lion – Looks ahead of the handicapper in my book. Third last time out reads well and that may have been on ground that doesn’t suit. The four-year-old looks well placed here.

Each way

3.40 Happy Odyssey – Solid form in four starts so far. Nurseries are never easy to pick apart but the market looks to be slightly underestimating Amy Murphy’s horse in this.

Stratford

Best bet

2.15 Djin Conti – Favourite had a hard race last time and looks vulnerable. Harry Whittington’s five-year-old could take advantage.

Each way

2.50 Smoking Dixie – Fifth behind a horse miles ahead of the handicapper last time. As expected that form looks to be playing out well.

Leicester

Best bet

5.25 Blame Roberta – Has been tried in much better company after an eye catching start. This should be much simpler.

Each way

5.55 Alejandro – Hasn’t won in a while but has slid down the weights while continuing to go close. This is also easier than most recent attempts and Josie Gordon takes the saddle.

Kempton

Best bet

6.45 Gunmaker – Gavin Cromwell is remarkably four from five sending runners across from Ireland to the all weather this year. His runner holds obvious claims here on that alone.

Each way

7.45 Percy’s Word – Quiet last time but is seen to best effect at this track. Very close second here off this mark in July and Silvestre De Sousa is on board here.
