Saturday’s racing tips: Three longshots to fill your pockets at Sandown and Beverley

SANDOWN and Beverley host cracking seven-race cards on Saturday.

I've picked out a few live outsiders that can bash the bookies on a busy day of action.

2.25 Sandown - Billesdon Bess

Enjoyed an excellent 2017 campaign, including a game victory at Listed level.

Has been running well in defeat so far this term without setting the world alight.

She has been set some stiff targets, though, and the drop back into handicap company off a mark of 97 will help her cause.

3.20 Beverley - Mushariff

Sixth when upped in trip to 7f on his latest outing, but drop back to this 5f trip much more suitable.

Has won twice over this course and distance, including last summer off an 8lb higher mark.

He has been well drawn in stall two and gets the services of talented claimer Ger O'Neill, who takes off a handy 5lb.

Ran some cracking races last season and looked a horse to follow this campaign.

Has hit the frame at this track a couple of times but was particularly disappointing over 1m4f last time.

Takes a big drop in distance today, but that could help him bounce back.
