Today’s horse racing tips: Three longshots to fill your pockets on Wednesday, August 15

Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Wednesday, August 15

THERE'S something for everyone this Wednesday; with cards over the jumps, on the all weather and on the flat.

With Group action in France there's plenty of chances to find the all important longshot.

1

Charlie Hills' yard has had a quiet summer, but the win of Battaash at Glorious Goodwood looks to have been a turning point, with the horses starting to hit their stride over the last week.

NEW QUEEN (6.00) can continue the upturn at Kempton and looks the wrong price in an open race for two-year-old fillies.

She was only beaten half a length on debut by subsequent multiple Group winner Signora Cabello, before getting turned over at 4-9 at Bath. I'm happy to forget that, with the ground being rock hard.

A bigger field will help, as will the first time hood. The draw is also fine in stall seven and at the prices, she is worth chancing eachway.

There's Listed action at Salisbury and I'm hoping Clive Cox's LUIRE (3.40) will have come on plenty for his British debut at Goodwood last time.

The filly has some smart form in France and was well-backed at Goodwood (14s to 8s). But the race didn't go to plan as she suffered plenty of interference before not getting home and eased off.

The return to a better surface should also aid this four-year-old and I'm happy to completely forget the Goodwood run. After all, she could have just hated the track.

It's not the strongest of Listed heats, with Chain Of Daisies the one to beat at the ratings and in the form book.

Staying at Salisbury, in the finale I like CRYSTAL CASQUE (4.40) for the red hot Rod Millman stable.

She's yet to win in eight starts, but that's low mileage and she's threatened to win on multiple occasions.

Consistency is her game, and I'm sure she'll be right in the mix once again. She should be able to grab a race such as this judged on some of her form and this lowly mark.

Theodore Ladd is a claimer to keep on side and the drop in trip back to seven furlongs looks wise.
