WEDNESDAY TIPS

Best horse racing tips for Wednesday: Sunracing’s top picks for today’s racing at Brighton, Chepstow, Kempton, Pontefract and Yarmouth

Don't miss out on Sunracing's best bet and each-way shot at all of Wednesday's meetings

THE three-day Brighton festival of racing starts today, and we have had a good look through the runners and found a couple of tasty bets.

The Sunracing team have not stopped there, though, with tips for every meeting across the country on Wednesday.

2

Brighton

Best bet

3.10 Lord Clenaghcastle - Course and distance winner who won with something to spare over 7f at Sandown on his latest outing. A 2lb rise for that looks very fair.

Each-way

4.10 Multitask - Never able to land a blow from a poor position at Wolverhampton last time. On a very tempting mark now and worth another chance.

Chepstow

Best bet

4.00 Come On Come On - Stayed on strongly to finish a close third at Windsor last time. This stiffer track will play to his strengths.

Each-way

2.00 Yogiyogiyogi - Got going too late over shorter at Bath last time. The step back up to 6f on this stiff track will suit.

Kempton

Best bet

6.40 Nawar - Well-bred colt finished second to a useful sort on his debut at Salisbury. Will have learnt plenty from that and this looks a good opening.

Each-way

8.40 C'Est No Mour - On a decent mark and ran a solid race to finish fifth at Ascot last time. Could improve again in first-time cheekpieces.

Pontefract

Best bet

3.50 Reverend Jacobs - Overcame trouble in running to win decisively at Newmarket five days ago. A 6lb penalty might not stop him following up.

Each-way

3.20 Little Jo - Ran a cracker on his return from a break at Newcastle last time. Should go well from a good draw.

2

Yarmouth

Best bet

7.20 Laith Alareen - On a roll at present, bringing up the hat-trick in good style at Doncaster last time. This isn't a strong race and Silvestre De Sousa takes over in the saddle.

Each-way

6.20 Lunar Deity - Ran well when a close third upped to this 1m2f trip at Sandown last time. Should be bang there if running to the same level.
