Glorious Goodwood 2018: Unexposed Confiding carrying the faith of trainer Martyn Meade in Vintage Stakes

TRAINER Martyn Meade is confident the lightly raced Confiding can do the business in the Vintage Stakes.
The son of Iffraaj was impressive on debut at Newbury when beating a big field in style.
He displayed a potent turn of foot to put the race to bed that day, and it's easy to see why Meade is throwing his exciting two-year-old straight in at the deep end.
The unexposed colt will be taking on more inferior rivals now stepped up to Group 2 level, but his trainer is confident he'll be able to handle it.
He said: "I thought he was pretty impressive at Newbury and the form has worked out well.
"This is obviously a step up in class for him, but we've been very happy with him since Newbury and I don't see any reason why he won't go there and give a good account of himself."

Having already trained Advertise to victory in the July Stakes, Meade knows what it takes to train a top class two-year-old.
Asked to compare the two, he said: "I would say they're a bit on a par after their first runs.
"They both won impressively at Newbury first time out. This horse will probably be ready to step up to a mile before too long, but we'll see how he goes over seven furlongs on Tuesday."
Blonde Warrior will be one of those attempting to stop Martyn Meade's colt from seizing the Vintage Stakes crown.
The dual winner looked good in two novices last month and trainer Hugo Palmer thinks he could be out of the top drawer.
He said: "We have been very happy with Blonde Warrior since Doncaster. His last two races have been processions really and he hasn't had to do much more than that.
"Ever since I first saw Blonde Warrior, he has reminded me of Galileo Gold. There is obviously more to it than looks, but I think he is an exciting horse for the future as he is still quite immature."
