STRADIVARIUS is the star act in a final field of seven for the Goodwood Cup on Tuesday.
The son of Sea The Stars will likely start off a strong favourite to see off his six rivals.
Since his second behind Capri in last year's St Leger, it's been non-stop success for the talented four-year-old.
An emphatic win in the Yorkshire Cup on his reappearance was followed by a dismantling of a small field in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, cementing his place at the head of the stayers' tree.
Lining up for the Goodwood Cup on Tuesday, the Group 1-winner will attempt to win a second leg of the WH Stayers' Million, a prize on offer to any horse that can complete a 'stayers' treble'.
Although the talented colt will be without regular rider Frankie Dettori, last year's winning jock Andrea Atzeni is no mean substitute, and the pair will be hoping to lift the £283,550 prize once again.
