SANDOWN

BEATBOXER catches the eye on breeding and should know his job coming from John Gosden’s yard.

He will probably want a bit further than this initial 7f trip but it should be fine as a juvenile and his class will take him a long way.

LA PELOSA can get back to winning ways after almost being brought down at Newmarket last time out.

That was in Group 2 company on the back of an excellent effort in the Group 3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot. She steps up in distance, which shouldn’t be an issue on this drop in class.

2.55

GHOSTWATCH was racing away from the pace when a still-reasonable fifth at Haydock last time over this trip.

He had earlier won with plenty in hand on his first crack at the distance here and the first-time cheekpieces could just help him to concentrate a little and get back to his true form.

3.25

DREAM MACHINE was more than a little unlucky when fifth at Windsor last time trying to follow up a win at the same venue.

He was blocked a couple of times when throwing down his challenge. Before that he’d won two of his three starts over this trip and likes fast ground. He could still be ahead of the handicapper.

4.00

FANNIE BY GASLIGHT showed a good turn of foot to win from a fair way back at Salisbury last time out.

That was her handicap debut and a 4lb rise gives her every chance of following up. This trip and fast ground are both ideal.

4.30

ARIGATO has been in cracking form this summer with a win at Newmarket followed by a string of excellent performances.

He’s gone up a fair 4lb for a good second on the July course last time and this trip is ideal on fast ground. He is dropping in class here too.

5.00

SKYDIVING has few miles on the clock and showed promise when fourth on his handicap debut at Nottingham last time out.

That was on the back of some good displays at maiden level. He may not have quite lasted the extended mile last time and wouldn’t have to improve much dropping back in trip to strike.
