Today’s horse racing tips: Three longshots to fill your pockets on Saturday, July 21

Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Saturday, July 21

THERE is something for everyone this Saturday, with competitive action on the Flat and over the jumps.

With value to be had at Newbury, Newmarket and Ripon, here are some tasty longshots for you to get stuck into.

1

PACO'S ANGEL (4.45) is a gift from the heavens at Newbury.

Richard Hughes' filly has some high-class form to her name but ran a rare poor race at Pontefract last time.

She is forgiven that effort and now drops down into a handicap - her first start in a handicap since she finished third in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last season.

Hughes has fitted cheekpieces on the filly for the first time and talented claimer Finley Marsh takes off a handy 5lbs.

Three Longshots to fill your boots

2.55 Ripon - I'm Billy Murphy: 'Showed plenty of early speed last time so should relish the drop back to 5f' (Bet here)

3.25 Newmarket - Syrian Pearl: 'Has dropped to a good mark and forgiven recent flop having blown the start' (Bet here)

4.45 Newbury - Paco's Angel: 'Finished third in the Sandringham the last time she ran in a handicap - big chance dropped in class' (Bet here)

SYRIAN PEARL (3.25) can shine at Newmarket.

Chris Wall's filly has been short of her best the last twice, but she had excuses last time when blowing the start.

She is a dual course and distance winner and has now dropped to a winning mark.

Fast underfoot conditions pose no problems and she has her sights lowered having been eased into a Class Four.

It would be silly not to give Billy another chance at Ripon.

I'M BILLY MURPHY (2.55) shaped with plenty of promise when third on his debut over 6f at this track.

He showed early speed before weakening out of contention over the same distance at Doncaster last time, so he should relish the drop back to 5f.

This isn't a strong race, Lewis Edmunds takes 3lbs off his back and he has drawn well in stall eight.
