Irish Oaks runners and tips: Your top pinstickers’ guide to SATURDAY’S Group 1 at the Curragh
Tom Bull runs you through the contenders for the Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Saturday
The tides of the equine Sea are changing in the Irish Oaks.
Sea Of Class produced an electric display at Newbury last time and can take the fillies' Classic with the step up in trip likely to be ideal.
Bye Bye Baby 2/5
It's goodbye from her. Fourth in Pretty Polly beaten over seven lengths leaves her with plenty to find. Aidan O'Brien's likely pacemaker would need big players to fall in a hole to have any chance.
Forever Together 3/5
Foreverly Brothers would sing her tune. Oaks winner would be favourite for this on best form but has not produced that in two runs since her Epsom victory. If bouncing back has big chance but didn't seem to like the ground that much when second in the Pretty Polly.

Magic Wand 4/5
Spells danger for the rest. Impressive winner of the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot holds every chance on that form. Very smart filly on fast ground and sure to take plenty of beating. Still unexposed but came up short in only Group 1 contested so far.
Mary Tudor 1/5
Needs a reformation. Only victory to date came over a mile and a quarter in a Navan Listed race, form which is nowhere near good enough to take this. Step up in trip should suit but has bags to find on ratings.
Romiyna 2/5
Could be more like a rom-com. Needs massive improvement on Listed sixth last time out but looked very smart on debut at Gowran. Shrewd trainer wouldn't just thrown her into this but she needs to show a lot more.
Sea Of Class 5/5
Can be too class-sea. Only had three starts but looked a future star in two of them. Very impressive in Listed race at Newbury last time over ten furlongs and although needs to step up, she's progressing quickly. William Haggas has good record with his fillies in Irish Group 1 races and she can add to his haul.
KONCHOUS DECISION Cox targeting Glorious Goodwood with July Stakes runner-up Konchek
Tissiak 2/5
Too much for tiss one. Ran fifth in Listed contest last time which is not good enough form to take this. However, Joseph O'Brien won Irish Derby with a similar type and she should not be completely discounted.
