Today’s horse racing tips: Three longshots to fill your pockets on Thursday, July 19
Don't miss out on these each-way bets for Thursday, July 19
THERE are six Flat fixtures on Thursday - a day for the purists.
With value to be had at Hamilton, Chepstow and Leicester, here are some cracking longshots for you to have a punt on.
It won't be a grey day for Camanche Grey (2.30 Hamilton).
Ben Haslam's gelding has form figures of 132 and the Scottish track and clearly the quirky ups and downs agree with him.
Although advancing in years, he's quite lightly raced for a seven-year-old, and a mark of 55 doesn't handicap him out of things.
He's never won on ground this fast but he's not had many chances, and he's still relatively unexposed on turf.
Haslam will need to have him fighting fit if he is to defy a long absence, but he's likely to be overpriced at a track he loves.
Three Longshots to fill your boots
2.30 Hamilton - Camanche Grey: 'He's never won on ground this fast but he's not had many chances, and he's still relatively unexposed on turf'
2.10 Chepstow - Basshiq: 'He's now running over the same trip as his maiden win for only the third time in his career, and everything is in place for a big performance'
4.50 Leicester - Shalamzar: 'He's fallen to a very low mark and if any sniff of ability remains then he should win this'
Bassh the bookies with Basshiq (2.10 Chepstow).
Peter Hiatt's four-year-old sneaks into a 0-70 for the first time and can make the most of the drop in class.
He's not progressed from a maiden win at Redcar back in 2016, but now lowered to a mark of 67 from 83, he's clearly capable of getting his head in front once more.
An eighth at Kempton last time out wasn't completely without promise, and he's a better horse on turf.
He's now running over the same trip as his maiden win for only the third time in his career, and everything is in place for a big performance.

Shalamzar (4.50 Leicester) shall bounce back.
Grace McEntee has been riding the son of Selkirk on his last few starts, but now reunited with Adam Kirby, he can get back to winning ways.
The nine-year-old hasn't won on the level for nearly two years, but he's fallen to a very low mark and if any sniff of ability remains then he should win this.
The trip should suit perfectly and he's the one to beat.
