Don't miss out on Sunracing's best bet and each-way shot at all of Saturday's meetings

NEWMARKET deservedly takes centre stage today in front of the ITV cameras with the Darley July Cup, but there's plenty more equine action across the UK.

We've looked at the best of the rest and come up with our best bets on each card.

Newmarket

Best bet

1.05 Cape Of Good Hope - This very well bred colt finally got his act together when recording a snug win at Tipperary last time out. The full brother to Highland Reel and Idaho can continue his upward curve here and should be classy enough to cope with the step up in grade.

Each-way

2.15 Redkirk Warrior - An absolute no show at Royal Ascot his Aussie sprinter is better than that. Could bounce back to his best form with regular rider Regan Bayliss flying over to ride him replacing Frankie Dettori. Dangerous if he shows his peak form.

Ascot

Best bet

3.05 Elwazir - Followed up two decent efforts to get off the mark in good style at Sandown. Bred to be talented and has the added bonus of top jockey Dettori on board.

Each-way

12.45 Tanasoq - Transformed this season and is chasing the five-timer today. Up in the weights again and this is harder than his last start but there's no knocking the winning form.

DOUBLE TROUBLE Poet's Word and Crystal Ocean set for two-pronged attack on King George

York

Best bet

2.35 Dal Harraild - Flopped in Dubai when last seen but been given a nice long break since. Should be a class above these if returning in his best form.

Each-way

3.40 Brorocco - Things haven't gone his way recently but this race should be run to suit him. He has previously gone well here before and is one of a number of horses who have to have a big chance.

Chester

Best bet

2.05 Typhoon Ten - Good win on debut and there should be plenty more to come from him. Bred to be speedy and certainly showed that at Kempton.

Each-way

5.25 Harvest Day - Progressive this season until disappointing latest. Too early to write him off and every chance he can bounce back.

Salisbury

Best bet

6.45 Nawar - Well bred and this doesn't look a strong race. Could have the class edge.

Each-way

6.15 Swanton Blue - Previous course and distance winner ran well on both his starts last month. Wasn't beaten far at all when fifth at Newbury and set to go well today.

Hamilton

Best bet

6.00 Woodside Wonder - Likely to take plenty of beating based on his last two starts. In a weaker race here and has the form to see these off.

Each-way

7.00 Barracuda Boy - Formerly a very smart handicapper, he's now dropped to a mark from which he is more than capable. This a not a strong race and gives him the perfect opportunity to bounce back.

Newton Abbot

Best bet

2.20 The Unit/2.55 Mill Green double - Both horses are a long way clear of their rivals on form and are worth putting in a little combination. It would be a big surprise if either got beaten.

Each-way

4.35 Ange Des Malberaux - Eight-year-old has plunged down the weights after some uninspiring performances and now has made the move to the genius that is Dan Skelton. A win is imminent.
