COMMONWEALTH Cup hero Eqtidaar stretched his legs at Newmarket on Tuesday morning ahead of Saturday's July Cup.
Sir Michael Stoute's colt is among the favourites for the £500,000 sprint and was put through his paces by former jockey Ted Durcan.
The son of Invincible Spirit, who is a 13-2 chance for the July Cup, defeated Sands Of Mali in a thrilling finish at Royal Ascot last month.
Stoute was keen to give the horse a sighter of the undulating July Course at HQ before Saturday's big race, and he is reported to have come through the workout with flying colours.
James Horton, assistant trainer, said: "He is in good shape and he has come here for an eye-opener on a track he has never seen before.
"We have kept him in his regular routine and just let him have a feel of the track.

"You can't be anything but pleased with what he did.
"He has done well and his weight is very good. You could almost say he has thrived since Ascot. He is fresh and well and is moving great."
Eqtidaar will be taking on older sprinters for the first time this weekend, but Horton believes the colt will be up to the task.
He continued: "He has every reason to be here on Saturday.
LATEST IN HORSE RACING
"He has rarely run a bad race. He won first time up then when he went to Kempton, he came back with a dirty scope.
"He ran well first time out on ground that was a bit soft at Ascot, but that form has been well franked.
"He was drawn on the wrong side at Newbury and was 10 lengths off the leaders two furlongs out.
"He has won his Group 1 against the three-year-old's and he is now taking on the older sprinters. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain."
