THE CURRAGH takes centre stage on Sunday with Group 1 action combined with the usual competitive handicaps.
It sets the day up nicely with a few opportunities to get involved in the markets throughout the afternoon.
The first longshot I have eyed up comes in the Lyndsey & Eleanor Comer Trust Handicap at the Curragh (4.05).
Massif Central has been inserted as favourite, but the one I prefer is Master Speaker.
They were second and third respectively in a warm handicap won by Saltonstall last time out, and at the prices I have to side with Master Speaker.
The favourite may have a more progressive profile, but this is factored into his odds and is why I lean to Adrian McGuiness's horse.

She ran in a pair of hot novice heats at Ascot and Newmarket before shying away in her next efforts.
A return to quick ground can hopefully see her bounce back and if she does she can make an impact in this 0-75 fair handicap.
The stable form of Charlie Hills is a concern, but at the prices in such an un-competitive race Indicia looks overpriced.

In the Listed Marston's Pedigree Summer Cup, Good Man Vinnie makes some appeal at a juicy price.
He's sneaked into the race off bottom weight, following a win over course and distance at the end of May.
This is a big step up but he's previously shown promise in a couple of novice chases and he's certainly going to be better than his current mark of 123.
Seven-year-old's have a good record in the race, with three winning in the last six renewals and the eye-catching booking of Sam Twiston-Davies also makes appeal.
