LEICESTER

1.45

MANCHEGO has been showing bits and pieces of form in handicaps and should go close on this drop into selling company.

He was five lengths off the pace at Bath last time and has gone close over this trip at Chelmsford. He looks a bit too good for these rivals.

LETHAL ANGEL ran a good third at Newmarket on her handicap debut last time out. She was coming back from five months off so did well to finish less than two lengths off the lead.

The handicapper has dropped her 1lb for that despite looking open to lots of improvement.

2.55

CHAGATAI ran his best race for a long time when a close-up fourth in fair company at Newmarket last time out. That was over this trip and he finished the race well.

He goes off the same mark and should be in the shake-up of this open contest.

3.30

RAA ATOLL caught the eye when winning at Nottingham last time out over 1m2f. He travelled like a good horse there before picking up and running away from his rivals.

This step up in distance looks ideal and there should be a lot more to come.

4.05

QASWARAH has been raised a very fair 4lb for winning with a bit more than the official margin in hand at Chepstow last time out.

The ground was firmer that day but there’s no reason why she won’t go in these conditions. The step up in distance should suit and there will be more to come.

JUMIRA PRINCE goes off a handy mark despite winning well at Doncaster last time out. That was over this trip on soft ground and he could have won by further than the half-length official margin.

He wouldn’t have to improve much to land another victory.

5.15

AMULETUM almost went from the front to win at Windsor last time, settling for a close second when collared late on.

She’s had a couple of runs now for Peter Chapple-Hyam since moving from Ireland and there could be more improvement to come. This trip is ideal and the cut underfoot won’t be a problem.
