A MOMENTOFMADNESS has the ideal draw to go from the front over an ideal distance. He is off the same mark as when winning at Kempton last month and didn’t get the run of the race on his turf return at Newbury last time. He’s better than that and can show it here.

ROSTROPOVICH has proven himself at Group 1 level when third at The Curragh last September. He looked rusty on his comeback in France last time when the ground was also far too testing. He’s stepping up in distance here and should improve for it.

VALE OF KENT has shaped like a potential improver on the all-weather with a string of consistent efforts right through the winter and spring. He was beaten a neck at Wolverhampton last time and is only 1lb higher in the weights today. He has a good draw and there should be more to come.

IDAHO is taking a big drop in class after running in Group 1 races with mixed results. He wasn’t disgraced in the Dubai Sheema Classic last time and should find this a lot easier. The step up in distance should help too.

Mick Channon can do no wrong with his two-year-olds this season and can land another win with ARCADIAN ROCKS. He was beaten just over a length on debut at Salisbury last time and should be happier on this quicker surface. He showed plenty of pace there and has a good draw.

ARTHENIA doesn’t have an ideal draw but has some decent form, including when third at Newmarket in October. She needed her comeback at Newcastle last time on handicap debut and she’s already had a little nudge down the weights. This step up in distance looks a good move and she should go well.

NEVER SURRENDER likes it around here and this distance brings out the best in him. He has taken a little while to get the hang of handicaps but was an excellent fourth at Newbury last time and goes off the same mark today.
