Cheltenham winner Missed Approach could run in the Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown
Warren Greatrex has indicated he is leaning towards the Bet365 Gold Cup with Kim Muir Challenge Cup winner Missed Approach, whilst stablemate Western Ryder could be upped in trip at Aintree.
KIM MUIR winner Missed Approach could have the Bet365 Gold Cup on the final day of the jumps season at Sandown as his next target.
Warren Greatrex is leaning towards the valuable handicap on April 28 with his Cheltenham Festival winner, although the Coral Scottish Grand National at Ayr a week earlier remains under consideration.
Greatrex said: "He has come out of the race well. There is not a nick on him. He is fresh and he seems all good.
"There are two options - either the Scottish National, which he ran in last year, or the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown. I think we might favour the bet365 as that might be more his bag.
"If he goes quiet and I don't think he is right that will be him done for the season but I think he will be all right."
Stablemate Western Ryder could step up to two and a half miles for the Betway Mersey Novices' Hurdle at Aintree after finishing sixth in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.

"He was the fastest-finishing horse and he didn't have a hard time. I think he would have been in the first four if he wasn't stopped.
"We looked at two and a half at Cheltenham, but we went two miles because of the ground. If the ground dries out, two and a half miles round there should be spot on for him."
