RAMORE WILL didn’t enjoy dropping back to 2m1f here last time and should be happier over this trip. His form is closely tied in with Le

Coeur Net and there shouldn’t be a lot between the pair again.

BALLYHEIGUE BAY won this race 12 months ago and was a battling winner at Ascot last time out. He stays all day and likes ground with some cut so his rise in the weights shouldn’t put the brakes on.

ICONIC SKY won well under today’s 7lb claimer at Market Rasen last time and a 5lb rise in the weights looks fair enough. She is taking a slight step up in distance today and there’s no reason why she won’t stay.

This isn’t the deepest race and GENERAL GIRLING is in good form so gets the nod. He put some poor efforts behind him when winning well at Lingfield in January and followed with a good second at Wincanton. A repeat of that should be good enough.

LUBATIC took a big step forward on his handicap hurdle debut at Huntingdon last time, going down in a close finish. He’s up 5lb for that but looks open to a lot more improvement.
