Take a chance on REIKERS ISLAND feeling no ill-effects of the tumble he took on hurdling debut at Exeter last time out. He was going very close to winning under Richard Johnson and the champion jockey is on board again today.

CITADEL is having his first run for a year, his first run since a wind operation and his first run for Dan Skelton. His form figures are alarming but those three firsts give him a much better chance today. The market will be a good guide but these rivals don’t look too hot.

CASTERLY ROCK ran his best over hurdles when second at Ludlow last time out. That was just third spin over timber so there should be more to come. This trip and decent ground are right up his street too.

CABERNET D’ALENE has been hiked 10lb for winning at Market Rasen last time but it was an impressive victory. He sees out this distance really well and goes on any ground. He needs to improve but is capable of doing so.

SPOCK is just 1lb higher than his last winning mark and will be suited by this trip and ground. He wasn’t beaten far in third here last time and will be right in the mix again.

LEGAL EYES showed plenty on his debut at Bangor last time when beaten six lengths in second. He improved as the race wore on there and should benefit plenty from the experience.
