Ben Pauling’s Barters Hill finally set to make his return to the racecourse at Newbury this Saturday

BEN PAULING is set to run Barters Hill at Newbury this Saturday.

Pauling's eight-year-old has not been seen since being pulled up on his chasing debut at Cheltenham in November 2016.

He is set to run in the Betfair Cash Out Handicap Hurdle rather than run at Huntingdon on Thursday where he also holds an entry.

"It's very much the plan to go on Saturday at Newbury," said Pauling.

Barters Hill was a brilliant staying novice hurdler in the 2015-16 season, winning his first three starts before finishing fourth in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival.
