Horse racing tips: Newcastle, Southwell and Wolverhampton – Steve Mullen’s betting preview for the racing this Monday, February 5
Steve Mullen guides you through Monday's racing at Newcastle, Wolverhampton and Southwell
SOUTHWELL
TWO SWALLOWS is dropping down from Listed level where she was an excellent third at Newbury last time out. That was over almost 3m but she has enough pace for this distance and will go through the ground no problem.
Get on The Yager did well to score narrowly at Wetherby last time and can chase her home.

MYROUNDOUROURS has been a model of consistency and followed up two wins at Worcester with a couple of good placed efforts. He has had a little help from the handicapper and the only worry is his 560 days off the track.
That said, trainer Robin Dickin has his horses in great form so he should be fit enough.

BOREHAM BILL was a decent bumper performer and has shown promise on his two spins over timber. He didn’t like going right-handed at Huntingdon last time and should be a lot happier here.
Soft ground suits and you would expect more improvement. Bumper winner Don Lami was a good second on his hurdles debut at Donny last time and is capable of going on from that.
3.35
GLOBAL CITIZEN has changed yards since finishing a close second at Huntingdon last time on top of a decent effort at Aintree. He likes this trip and will have learned from his experiences so far.
Ashkoul won well at Market Rasen last time and can give him the most to do despite carrying a penalty.

CHAMPION CHASE has an each-way squeak and should be fitter after his first start for Martin Bosley. He was off for more than three months and had been chasing before that effort.
On his old form that saw him run well a couple of times here, he will have a chance.
Reckless Behaviour was a good second on his last run around here and he’s had a break since a modest effort at Huntingdon last time.

None of these inspire too much confidence but MISS FLEMING has at least been hitting the frame. She was a fair second at Market Rasen last time and keeps it simple by going from the front.
Tara Well is up 6lb for winning at Leicester latest and should be competitive again.
