ALLETRIX has a fighting chance in an ultra-tough race. She ran a cracked in the Fairyhouse Grade 2 last time and will like the cut underfoot. The trip suits and Jessica Harrington’s horses are going well.
1.15
ESPOIR D’ALLEN has carried all before him and deserves this step up in class. He travelled well again when winning a Grade 2 here last time and should still be improving at this stage of his career.
1.50
OUR DUKE wasn’t right when seventh at Down Royal last time and is much better judged on his easy Irish National win in April.
Okay, his undoubted stamina won’t be brought into play here but connections still rate him as a Cheltenham Gold Cup horse and he can show why today.
4.10
HELL’S KITCHEN doesn’t have a lot of chasing miles on the clock but showed his quality when winning at Kempton on Boxing Day.
He’s up a fair 6lb for that over a distance that suits well so should be right there again.
4.40
COLREEVY is well bred and showed signs of class when scoring well on her debut at Fairyhouse before Christmas. She should come on for that debut and win this good closing contest.
Stablemate Relegate probably wants further but is another to consider closely.
